Located on the Sunshine Coast, just over one and a half hours drive from Brisbane, Noosa offers the ideal blend of nature, attractions and the good life.
Smack bang in the centre of Noosa is famous Hastings Street, lined with boutique shops, restaurants and cafes oozing seaside charm and casual sophistication.
Bordering Hastings Street is Noosa's Main Beach, a north facing surfing beach from which you can walk 10 minutes to Australia's most visited park, Noosa National Park. Noosa National Park covers 477 hectares of coves, walking tracks, rocky headlands and some of the best surfing breaks the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
Located behind Hastings Street and over Noosa Hill you will find Noosa Junction. Noosa Junction is the region's central shopping area where you can shop with ease, see a movie and visit the bank.
Within the greater Sunshine Coast and easily accessible from Noosa is the world's largest sand island, Fraser Island as well as Underwater World, the Southern Hemisphere's largest oceanarium and Australia Zoo, founded by conservationist Steve Irwin.
The Eumundi Markets is also well worth a visit during you stay at Noosa. These markets are held every Wednesday and Saturday and see the market place fill up with live entertainment, art and craft stalls and food stalls covering every corner of the globe.
If you want to experience Noosa at its busiest and most vibrant, high season is between December to mid January and late March to early April. To experience a quieter Noosa low season is early April to mid September.
